Jaegerhof Holderberg in Moers

We had 2 roast goose delivered for the first time on Sunday, December 13th, 2020. Absolutely delicious !!! A real dream at a unique price. I can only recommend it. So please support such a great restaurant in these difficult times. After all, in the future - after the pandemic - we want to be able to visit restaurants again on site. We will definitely be placing an order again soon.

We ordered almost 1 week in advance for a cozy evening with friends. For point 6 p.m.! Called 3 times to make sure everything arrives on time! Our guests came directly with the meal, almost half an hour early ... We are really angry about that, the evening was ruined at the beginning by the Jägerhof's unpunctuality ??? There was no response to a complaint about A.B.! Food was great for the second time!

We ordered food for the first time at the Jägerhof a week ago and we love it. Very friendly service, the food fresh and fragrant, everything very tasty. This Sunday we want to treat ourselves to goose in the Jägerhof, we're looking forward to it ?

Because of Corona: - you can only pick up or have it delivered - the portions are apparently currently maxi portions (THANK YOU!) - there is a discount (no thanks, take it as a tip!) Dear Jägerhof, hold on! A cozy gastronomy on site is irreplaceable and a piece of home!

We were there with four people. The food itself was very okay. The soup was delicious and the salads were passable. One can argue about the size of the side dishes. If the meal had come together and the pancake had not burned in one or two small places, we would have given five stars. This time unfortunately only three but we will be back to give it a second chance.

A few years ago they would have got a better rating. But unfortunately not only because the pancakes were burnt. It will take a while before I go back here. Too bad ?

Took a break here on my bike tour and ate well, the service was very attentive and friendly. The cozy beer garden is a great place to sit. There is also a large parking lot. Fresh seasonal cuisine is offered.

Great food, very friendly staff and cheap prices

Child-friendliness is said to be very important, unfortunately the "play corner" is a bad joke, old, shabby and a pond right next to it ?! "Great" for small children ... :-( The waiting times were also unbearable, whether drinks, meals or bills. The children's food was brought last (!), Unfortunately there wasn't even chips or the like. to select. The steak was not worth the money, neither in terms of quantity nor taste. Only the pancakes were OK.

We have been here several times and think it's great to end a nice day here in the beer garden. So far it has always worked with a spontaneous visit with a place in the beer garden. Presumably, a reservation in advance is recommended, as the restaurant is very popular and well attended. The pancakes are delicious. No matter if sweet or savory. The service is very friendly. The only disadvantage: if it is too full, then there can be long waiting times ... but there are 5 stars, because the ambience is simply great and the price-performance ratio is right. Always happy!

My birthday should end nicely in the beer garden with delicious food and drinks. Waited over an hour for the food, 3 people got their food, I had to wait another 15 minutes with my husband, the drinks came slowly, instead of the tagliatelle I had just ordered spaghetti, etc. I don't want to line up any more. The staff tried hard, but was completely overburdened.

So far we've always enjoyed going to the Jägerhof. After our last visit yesterday, we will have to think hard about whether it can stay that way. My wife's pancake was garnished with slightly rotten grapes, my steak was only served 20 minutes later and was not medium but rather fried. Even the chef's attempt to apologize with two fruit brandies failed, as the service apparently cannot distinguish between plums and apricots. The rather young service staff are nice, but sometimes seem a bit overwhelmed. Incidentally, a cocktail was decorated with rosemary instead of fresh mint, contrary to a large notice in the beer garden.

Aged restaurant with lots of seats. The beer garden, on the other hand, radiates cosiness and has enough space for several groups. I think it can be endured well.

Very nice and quick staff. Everyone is polite and courteous, just to my liking. I can only recommend everyone to eat here. Even in good weather, you can sit in the beer garden. Come and try it yourself.

Eaten and drunk delicious. The service was nice and friendly. What was not so pleasant is the seating in the beer garden. Could be modernized so that you can sit more comfortably.

Nice restaurant with beer garden under trees. Preferably pancake and steak dishes. The food is good, the portions are large enough and the prices are normal. If you like pancakes you should have a look here. There is a bus route and there is ample parking space. When the weather is nice, you should reserve a table. The staff is friendly and you can enjoy your visit in a good mood.

My wife and I were at this location for the first time today. Since we were sitting outside, we can only write about the exterior. For some (including my wife), the beer garden is cozy. It was too chaotic for me personally. Old furniture crisscrossed. In addition really small, old wooden seating with wooden tables, then sometimes old upholstered furniture mixed with leather furniture, then somewhere in between a beach chair etc. The ordered drinks were nice and cool and delicious. My wife's ice cream (two scoops) wasn't great and the scoops were too small. In addition, there are still restaurants or eateries that offer spray cream and I don't like that at all. The service was friendly, but there is still some room for improvement. Nevertheless, we want to go there again and again eat something warm (e.g. pancakes) because from a distance they looked very tasty.
